this was it. there they were on their way to go and meet wynton's family. the plan ride was hell, but she ended up falling asleep with her head on wynton's shoulder. getting to his place was fine, although she wanted to rip his clothes off. but joey had to wait, not that she minded too much. her nerves in her stomach were jumping around, clumping together with the other nerves and creating a giant ball of nervous. but she knew it was going to work out, with wynton next to her joey knew she could push through her anxiety and live a somewhat normal life.

The plane ride back to London was one Wynton was used to but not when he was bringing someone back home to meet the family. He'd been fidgety the whole plane ride and more so in the car from the airport to the Thackeray family home. But he tried his best to hide it, not wanting Joey to have to worry about him at all. The sleek black car made its way through the London traffic and by the time they pulled up in front of the house, Wynton was torn between extreme excitement about seeing his family and some nervousness. "Are you ready?" He asked her as the driver got out of the car and went around to get their bags out before coming to open the door for them, Wynton sliding out first.
