This here is Mel. Melanie is 19 years old and an up and coming pop/country artist. Melanie had grown up in Richmond, Virginia as well as NYC itself. She is a Kingston although most people wouldn’t even realize just what all that entails since she was discover in Nashville and not signed with her fathers’ record company. Mel was a wild card when she was in high school here in New York, she was a very independent child and liked to rebel, no one dared to make fun of her regardless of the fact she had two dads. She had gotten suspended multiple times for fighting. Mel didn’t start getting her act together until the end of her junior year. Mel had been keeping a secret that she had been staying with her birthmother in Nashville ever since graduation while she was suppose to be down there figuring out who she was. The truth however has finally come out and her family was less than thrilled about it. Now she is back in the city and she isn’t sure how they will react to it. She isn’t the same tough girl she was when she left; she is still very independent but she has a softer side to her now that she is more willing to let people see.
friends: Mel will be needing some new and old. She’s always been more like one of the guys so primarily most of her good friends will be guys but she’s going to be needing some girl friends too.
enemies: new and old also after all she was very blunt and rude in high school and some people are good at holding grudges.
lovers: she probably had a few boyfriends in high school but they were all likely under the “bad boy” category. But these would be far and few between. Shes not really sure where she stands on the idea of love and all that but she’d really like to find it if it is real

mel & miles
alright! imma throw some of my bbys at her and see what sticks. so first here is miles. miles is a married, gay, stay home dad/artist and a massive sweetheart, just like the nicest guy you could meet basically. anyway! miles formerly had a one night stand with her brother and recently sort of has a friendship going with him because he's worried about him. so he'd for sure know about her, even if he hasn't actually met her. anyway, his friendship with austin is going to end because miles' husband tony is going to find out and there's gonna be all this drama. so the point is that miles will stop having contact with austin. now, for mel's part. at some point the two of them could meet and have sort of a friendly relationship (they could meet through miles' husband tony, who is both a tattoo artist and a musician ooorrr some other way, i am up for whatever). and part of their relationship will probably be that miles will still worry and want some way to check on him without actually talking to him because he doesn't want to risk fucking up his marriage again. plus they could also just be buds! up to you!
mel & charlie
if she's friends with miles, she'll know charlie. charlie is the woman who runs the local sex shop and she's just like a kick ass lady, super tough, has a kid and is recently engaged. she's like the kinda girl you wanna be friends with so you can get together and have drinks and complain about the shit in your life and laugh about guys and swap sex stories and whatever. so she's just like, good kinda friend to have!
mel & shai
shai is miles' cousin and he's a brand new transplant from israel, though he's spent the past four years traveling pretty much constantly. depending on what thoughts you have for her, it's entirely possible that they could have a flirtatious friendship going and possibly a one night stand? shai is not really big on commitment so i don't see a relationship happening, at least not easily, it'd have to be something that kind of got pushed for. or fallen into, like if they had an ongoing fling kind of thing. or just the friendship thing!
i got more but i gotta think on possible plots for 'em! in the mean time though, here's these!

I LOVE THAT! I could see them meeting through Tony but then eventually Mel could probably put all the pieces together. I could totally see Melanie being the like “middle person” in that situation and keeping up a friendship with miles to reassure him about Austin and how he is doing once everything blows up.
mel&&Charlie
I think mel and Charlie would get along really well and I could totally see her being the type of person would want to go out with for a girls night and just go have fun and be a little crazy

I could totally see them having a really flirty friendships one night stands and flings have never been really her kind of thing but if provoked she might give into it like if he’d taunt her to “live a little” or something like that which could end up being kind of funny I feel. She’d probably pick up that commitment wasn’t his thing so she’d try and do everything in her power to not feel anything more for him, be she’s not going to argue the fact that he is attractive.
