Wynton couldn't help but nod along as she talked about people being crazier in the city. "It's not at all like home. I mean, a city is a city but New York is so much crazier than home." He tried to think up what else was remotely interesting but, eyes getting off the path ahead of them for a few minutes, which was a mistake, since, walking and not looking where he was going wasn't exactly one of his skills. When he turned back to face Joey, balance regained, he was embarrassed and stammering as he spoke. Nearly falling on his ass in front of a cute girl was not how he intended to make a good impression.
"I... Uh... That wasn't...." He couldn't think of what to say so instead, he stopped, cleared his throat and shook his head, blushing a bit. "That was really humiliating I-I-I didn't meant to uh, fall all over myself like an idiot, please don't think I'm an absolute moron." Wynton finally managed, sounding rather nervous as he spoke
